Carole Vincent holds a Ph.D. in Economics from Université Laval. She has more than 20 years of experience conceiving and overseeing a vast array of research activities focusing on a variety of issues relating to economic and social policy. Over the course of her career, Carole Vincent has occupied key positions in multiple research organizations, notably with the Social Research and Demonstration Corporation in Ottawa, the Institute for Research on Public Policy in Montreal and the department of Finance in Ottawa. She has acted as an expert advisor for several government bodies, including the Secrétariat à la condition féminine du Québec, Employment and Social Development Canada, and the Commission d’examen sur la fiscalité québécoise, on which she was a commissioner.

Détentrice d’un doctorat en économie de l’Université Laval, Carole Vincent compte plus de 20 ans d’expérience dans l’élaboration et la gestion d’un large éventail d’activités de recherche portant sur divers enjeux de politiques économiques et sociales. Au cours de sa carrière, elle a occupé des postes clés au sein de différents organismes de recherche, notamment la Société de recherche sociale appliquée à Ottawa, l’Institut de recherche en politiques publiques à Montréal et le ministère des Finances à Ottawa.
